Advanced Cardiac Life Support

ACLS is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support

The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills.

Basic Life Support

The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

WILDLAND TRAINING

S-190

This is the first and foundational wildland fire behavior course in a five-course sequence in the NWCG curriculum. It introduces students to the basic concepts of wildland fire behavior

L- 180

The L-180, Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service, online course exposes students to human performance concepts as part of basic wildland firefighter training. The course is specifically designed for entry-level operational personnel; however, this course also applies to all wildland fire service personnel, including non-operational personnel.

S-130

The intent of this course is to train new firefighters in basic firefighting skills. This includes a required field exercise that may be arduous in nature. **BLENDED TRAINING. IN CLASS PORTION MUST BE COMPLETED**

FEMA TRAINING

ICS-100

This course describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of the Incident Command System. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS

ICS-200

This course provides training on, and resources for, personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within ICS.

ICS-700

This course provides an overview of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). The National Incident Management System defines the comprehensive approach guiding the whole community - all levels of government, nongovernmental organizations (NGO), and the private sector - to work together seamlessly to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from the effects of incidents.

ICS-800

The goal of this course is to provide guidance for the whole community. Within this broad audience, the National Response Framework focuses especially on those who are involved in delivering and applying the response core capabilities.

Obtain a FEMA Student Identification Number (SID)

The FEMA SID number is used as the applicant's unique student identifier for: training records and continuing education credit through the International Association for Continuing Education and Training

SPECIALIZED TRAINING

Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD License)

EMTs, Paramedics, and nurses planning on working in the United Arab Emirates will need to obtain a HAAD license and complete the HAAD examination. The application can be found here.

Tropical Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (THUET)

This training program will prepare delegates that intend to travel to and from offshore oil and gas installations and vessels by helicopter in a tropical environment by providing specific training in pre-flight and in-flight requirements and to equip delegates with the basic emergency response knowledge and skills required in the event of a helicopter emergency – with specific focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching and sea survival techniques.

Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)

This training introduces delegates to the specific safety issues and regimes relevant to offshore installations, and to equip them with the basic emergency response knowledge and skills for travelling to and from offshore installations by helicopter.

International Trauma Life Support

International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) is a global organization dedicated to preventing death and disability from trauma through education and emergency care. ITLS educates emergency personnel to provide optimal care for the trauma patient.

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

The Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC®, is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels.
